Facility Hire

The Church Hall and a selection of rooms of various sizes are available for hire for morning, afternoon, evening and all-day sessions.

The Harding Room:

6.6m x 9m

Use for: This is a good room for larger committee meetings. Coffee mornings.

Room:   This room looks onto the Holdenhurst Road. The entrance is via the slope for disabled access.

Facilities: Toilet for Ladies and Disabled, and a separate Gents toilet. A kitchen with serving hatch to the main room.

 

The Shears Room:

7m x 6.90m

Use for: This is the Music room with special acoustic ceiling tiles, also suitable as a meeting room.

Room: This room is at the St. Swithun’s Road side of the building and nearest to the main car park. It is accessed at ground level via large double doors into a lobby.

Facilities: There is access to a small refreshment area. Toilet facilities are on the same level.

 

The Parkes Room:

6m x 4.5m

Use for: A bright but smaller room more used for children’s groups, and bible studies.

Room: This room is also accessed via the large double doors and lobby from the St. Swithun’s Road side of the building.

Facilities: There is access to a small refreshment area. Toilet facilities are on the same level.

 

The Main Hall

10m x 13m

Use for: This is a large area suitable for giving talks. Activity / Theatre groups. Jumble sales.

Room: This is below the Sanctuary and is accessed via.

  1. From St. Swithun’s Road side and then down some stairs.
  2.  Down the outside stairs and into the lobby of the hall.
  3. From the Holdenhurst Road the new access doors.

There is then a level entrance lobby with access to a lift or stairs to the first level (The John Tout Room) and a ramp and /or steps into the main hall area.

Facilities: There are Gents toilets at one end of the hall and Ladies and Disabled access toilets at the other. There is a kitchen area and serving bar in the main hall

 

The John Tout Room

8m x 6m

Use for: This is as an add on to the main hall and gives Disabled access to the Hall

Room: This room is accessed as the Main Hall.

Facilities: For convenience a refreshment area can be set up in this room.
